Christopher Chishala Puta was born and raised in Sarajevo, capital city of Bosnia & Herzegovina – once a province of the former Republic of Yugoslavia.

Christopher Puta started his media career in the early 90s. While completing his first university degree, Chris worked part time for an advertising agency as a jingle composer. Over the years, his love for audio/video production saw him graduate through different aspects of production from scripting to camera, editing, directing, TV broadcasting and more recently, teaching.

In addition to his media experience, Chris also comes with over 6 years of experience in business management particularly in the field of marketing and communication, having worked as marketing manager for two mobile telecoms firms (Airtel and Zamtel) and two FMCG manufacturing companies (Trade Kings and Infinity Zambia Ltd).

Prior to joining MTF, Chris was running a private media consultancy that specialised in ‘on-the-job’ training and development of the next generation of Zambia’s media professionals.
