Uchenna Ugwu is a 23-year-old aspiring writer whose dream is to become an award-winning script writer, novelist and producer.

Born in Ibadan, Oyo State in Nigeria, what gets Uchenna fired up about Africa’s creative film and television industry is the fact that there are numerous creatives with much to offer and are working to make the industry better than it was through their contributions.

Nigerian-born Tochukwu Nwabueze is a 26-year old film director with a great love for Africa’s food and the various cultures.

Having studied at both the University of Nigeria and the Royal Arts Academy, and believes that now is the time for African creatives to showcase the richness of the continent’s creativity.

Sonia ‘Loudspeaker’ Nwosu is a 23-year-old writer whose dream is to become a movie director and screenwriter.

Born in Imo, Nigeria, what fires her up about Africa’s creative industry are the untapped opportunities, as well as the talent diversity of African stories.

For Sonia, a great script and story are what make for a good film, and one of her goals is to create stories that resonates with Africans.

Nanret Paul Kumbet, nicknamed ‘Nanee’, is a 23-year-old Nigerian born in Vom, Nigeria, and holds a BSc in Mass Communication.

For Nanret, the best thing about Africa is the strength and resilience of its people. Which is why if she could create a TV show, it would be a documentary on why Nigerians are one of the happiest people on earth, and to portray the resilient spirit of her home country's people.
