Moët & Chandon, the champagne of cinema has returned with the second edition of the Moët & Chandon Film Gala aimed at celebrating the ever-blooming film industry in Nigeria. As we enter the turn of the decade, the theme of this year’s event is “Iconic” and pays homage to the top moments from the decade; game changers and their devotion to the craft.
Cairo International Book Fair will screen a total of 11 films during their artistic and cultural events in collaboration with the Egyptian Film Center, Alexandria Short Film Festival, and General Organization of Culture Places. The films include the feminist production “Between Two Seas” on January 28, at 5 pm, which will followed by a discussion with the writer Maryam Naoum and actress Tharaa Goubil.
MultiChoice Nigeria, through its flagship creative shared value (CSV) initiative, MultiChoice Talent Factory (MTF), kicked-off the New Year with another Masterclass. The Steadicam Operations Masterclass, which was held in Lagos on Wednesday, 22 January.
Speaking prior to the upcoming masterclass, Femi Odugbemi, MTF Academy Director, West Africa said, Ari de Beer, an international award-winning cameraman will be at the masterclass to teach participants drawn from various bodies across Nollywood on new techniques of Steadicam operations.
