Atinuke has over 20 years of experience spanning entertainment, branding, research, media management, marketing, and strategy.

 

She joined M-Net (Africa Magic) in 2014 as the Head of Channel for Africa Magic Entertainment, now Africa Magic Showcase. Before joining M-Net, she was the Senior Brand Manager in one of the leading telecommunications companies in Nigeria.

She became the Head of Channel for Africa Magic Urban in 2015 and led the team that converted the Channel from a movie only Channel to the current General Entertainment channel. Atinuke was also the Head of the Channel for Africa Magic Igbo and led the team that launched the Channel on the DSTV platform.

In 2018, the Channel Africa Magic Epic was added to her portfolio of channels, and she drove the content acquisition strategy for the four channels. She is content, enthusiastic and has a passion for African stories.

Atinuke understood the changing face of the content landscape and was responsible for coordinating local content acquisition for the digital platform - Showmax. Atinuke, in partnership with the different production teams, ensured that all large formats contents like Big Brother, Nigeria Idol, AMVCA and The Voice were strategically positioned within the channels.

She is one of the 200 women selected in the 1st Cohort of the Africa Women Entrepreneurship Cooperative (AWEC) out of an application of 2300 women from 52 African Countries. She was chosen in May 2019 as one of the 50 Leading Ladies in Corporate Nigeria by Leading Ladies Africa Network. Atinuke is passionate about mentoring and coaching with a bias towards young adults and women. She is a Cherie Blair Foundation for Women Mentor Alumni. She has mentored in Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ) and Adjunct Lecturer at the Lagos Business School (Pan Atlantic University).

Atinuke holds an MSc degree from the University of Lagos and an MBA from the prestigious Lagos Business School, where she graduated with distinctions in Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Strategy. Additionally, she holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Research and currently pursuing a Doctorate Degree in Business Administration (DBA) at the Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University in the UK.
