Iroagalachi Precious Ugonna, nicknamed Imperfect Anna, is a 23-year-old born in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, and holds a BSc. in Sociology.
According to Iroagalachi, the best thing about Africa is the continent’s diversity, which is why she has Kenya on her bucket list of places to visit, as she is fascinated by the East African nation's lifestyle and language.
Iroagalachi’s dream is to be a renowned filmmaker, and the African film creative she most admires is Nigerian actor Deyemi Okanlawon. Her favourite films are Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean andRememory, and her favourite actor is America’s Johnny Depp because of his range of acting roles. She is nevertheless still inspired by African creatives.
“I get fired up when I see African creatives working with little or no resources, making effort to tell the African story and getting recognised for it,” says Iroagalachi.
Beside film, she is also most passionate about human psychology. Iroagalachi hopes that her tenure at the MultiChoice Talent Factory Academy as a candidate will provide her with insight into the workings of the film Industry in Africa, filmmaking knowledge and network that will help boost her career.
This, in turn, will allow her to use her creative genius for the betterment of the creative film and television industry.
