“Owning my own production company that has offices scattered across Africa and the world.” This is what Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, creative and personal assistant Nikita Neo Mokgware. Passionate about education, Nikita - who studied BA Honours (Screenwriting, Physical theatre, Acting) - is hoping to acquire “new skills and knowledge about my craft that will help me create the kind of content I’d be proud to call my own”. With a philosophy that “education is key”, Nikita says a strong foundation on which to build a sustainable industry that produces quality content is essential to the TV and film industry. If given the chance to, she would create a “fantasy show based on African mythology.

The fantasy genre is one of my favourites and one I grew up with, it would be wonderful to tell stories from my own culture and myths within my country and continent. To finally be able to relate on a more personal level with the genre I am so fond of is a deep-seated dream of mine.”
