According to 26-year-old Jones Mvula, Africa’s film and TV industry is heading for great heights, and he wants to be a part of it. With a certificate in video production, the Livingstone-born creative is looking forward to making that a reality as he steps into the Multichoice Talent Factory. “I want to be a film producer and director,” Jones says, and looks forward to making an international name for himself one day . And says, “My favourite place in the world is Hollywood because it is the home of my dreams.” For the creative, a storytelling is essential to good filmmaking, and looking into the future, Jones believes he could add immensely to the film industry, with his contribution of “good stories with positive messaging”.
