Born and raised in Lagos, Oluwatimayomikun Ogunru, aka Timayo Ogunro, is an emerging screenwriter passionate about filmmaking and the art of creating compelling narratives.
Despite a background in sciences – Timayo has an M.Sc in Computer Security and B.Sc in Forensic Sciences from the University of Bedfordshire in the UK – Timayo is gearing up to secure his future in film and TV. With a dream of becoming a “successful screenwriter and film director”, he says, Timayo believes that being accepted into the MTF programme will provide him the foundational tools to further his dreams.
According to the creative, “At MTF I hope to gain an adept understanding of the business behind film, and to surround myself with creative thinkers, on my journey toward becoming a better writer, director and overall, a compelling storyteller.”
