I, Samkelo Mqadi am a Film/Theatre director from KwaZulu Natal, Durban Phoenix. I studied Drama and Theatre studies in the University of Zululand (oNgoye) and now a Magic in Motion intern, creating Films and memories every day.
When I get to a new environment, I always task myself to learn from the people who are experienced in that environment and at often I observe a lot and develop new ideas. I love to see change, I strongly believe that the old is the enemy of change. When I direct, I direct to prove that I’m the best director and then let the story tell itself. This is not written to convince, but to convey the truth about Samkelo Mqadi.
