bio

I'm a creative out-of-the-box thinker. A global trotter who is always travelling to seek new, innovative and trending ideas that can be introduced to help develop Africa. So far I've been to Malaysia, South Korea, Germany, Singapore, China (x9), United States of America, Gabon, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe, to mention a few countries, in pursuit of exciting opportunities that can grow my continent.

My belief has always been to explore opportunities offered by the world at large, outside of his own territories of operation, with a plan to bring such new ventures back home. That conviction is reflected on the type of multimedia productions and events management ventures I have introduced and operated in various countries, namely Botswana, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Gabon, over the past years.

I am a Creative Director in my own multimedia and lifestyle events management company. I have over 15 years experience in multimedia production, events management, film and television industry.

In 2008, our company was awarded exclusive Agency rights by a Germany company that manufactured screens which were used for fan parks at the 2006 Germany World Cup. We introduced them to the African market in preparation for the 2010 South Africa World Cup, during which we successfully hosted two fan parks. One was in Harare, Zimbabwe, and another in Gaborone, Botswana.

In 2011, EMI SOUTH AFRICA awarded our company exclusive Agency rights for the territories of Botswana, Zimbabwe and Zambia to procure events sponsorship, secure EMI Live artists performances and to source partners for on-going venture operations pertaining to opportunities offered by EMI Live. Through this partnership, we got involved with two international superstar concerts; Usher Raymond (in 2012) and Rihanna (in 2013), in association with South African's biggest concert organising company, BIG CONCERTS. We successfully, ran VIP ticket giveaway competitions which offered winners to attend both shows in Johannesburg, South Africa.

In 2012, our company was commissioned by the Gabon government to install LED screens in the Libreville Amitie Stadium, in Libreville. The stadium was newly constructed to be the official host for the 2012 Orange CAF Africa Cup Of Nations games, while we installed it's two LED screens. The project was worth over $1,7 million, delivered in partnership with South Africa's biggest AV company, The GEARHOUSE Group.

We organised Botswana's first film festival, called BOTSWANA INDEPENDENCE FILM FESTIVAL, in September 2012, with renowned South African actors, Tumisho Masha and Shona Ferguson, as special guests.

I have been appointed City Producer for the 48 HOUR FILM PROJECT GABORONE (Botswana) since 2013. The 48 Hour Film Project is an annual film competition in which teams of filmmakers have 48 hours to create a short film. The competition, created in the United States of America by Mark Ruppert, has been active since 2001. By 2009, nearly 40,000 filmmakers made around 3,000 films in 76 cities around the world. The best winning short films get an opportunity to be featured in the Filmapalooza and Cannes Film Festivals. To date, this project is experiencing exponential growth, making it one of the leading short film competitions in the world.

I'm the Founder & Creative Director of our company's latest in-house developed music competition called WHO SINGS IT BEST? which we conceptualized in mid-2018. WHO SINGS IT BEST? is a innovative music recording experience that features local and international songs, offering singing recreation and talent scouting to today’s tech-savvy and social media driven generation. Check out our WHO SINGS IT BEST? Facebook page for more info.
