bio

I'm a 32 year old electrical engineer and IT geek turned film maker. I stumbled into film by accident, fell in love with it and now run a Nairobi film start up called Afrikan Film Centre. The mission of African film centre is to share the African story - the tears, the struggle, the pain, the laughs, the dreams and aspirations, the triumphs and the good times every time the cameras roll.

I combine engineering problem solving skills with the power of storytelling offered by film to create compelling films, documentaries and social campaigns.

I was a finalist of the 2014 Enactus Syngenta Agribiz4Africa competition, having been selected out of contestants from 6 countries in Africa. I'm also a 2018 Ongoza fellow and 2018 Harvard University CopyrightX course alumni. I'm passionate about Africa, sports, law and technology.
