Erick Muriuki fell in love with film at the age of 15. His quest led him to Daystar University where he studied Bachelor of Arts Communication majoring in Electronic Media. He directed ‘Mama Duka’ a local television drama immediately after college, that won Best Swahili show at Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) 2014.
He continued to direct other television shows, documentaries, commercials and live events in Kenya and around the region. He was born and raised in Nakuru and currently lives in Nairobi, Kenya with his family
