Basetsana Moiloa is a proudly South African, ardent thespian both on and off screen. Having found her passion for acting in high school after joining the drama club, she made it her mission to hone her craft and study drama at City Varsity in Cape Town. She later studied screenwriting at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles in order to, as an actress, understand the script from a writer’s point of view.
STRENGTHS
Basetsana Moiloa’s strengths are in her commendable work ethic, her ability to play any character from comedic to dramatic. She is able to imitate many accents from different countries such as Nigeria, USA, and South African coloured. Her talents and perseverance have even won her “Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy” at the LA WebFest in 2013.
INTERESTS
God fearing, and with a good sense of humour, her interests lie in human welfare especially for the girl child that is always faced “with a man’s world” when they grow up. ‘It is by God’s will that the woman was placed as the bearer of nations.
