I'm about 2 years in the industry. started as a photographer then i progress into transition making in after effect although that didnt last long because i have a target. october 2018 i took a drift and majored in videography; shooting and editing. i had the help of a great friend and today i'm proud to say i've coverd close to 20 events and edited 15. This events range from music video behind the scene, short film behind the scene, full movie directors cut, weddings, birthdays etc. all this within the space of 4 month.
The directors in Port Harcourt are calm. never had a reason to quarrel with any although financing is their major challenge. 85% of the known directors in Port Harcourt feel they are trying to help the unknown DOP thereby making him/her to work for hours with little or no pay. Like my friend will say " just keep doing it because you love it and in due season they'll pay for all they've from you".
