I was entered into my grade 10 & grade 12 eisteddfods in which I received highest honors in all my categories, respectively & was awarded the category winner (gr 12) for my prose piece. In grade 11, I was an extra & stage director for my school play. In this year I also job shadowed Leighanne Williams at Expresso and GoodHopeFM as well as Louise Silver at RadioTygerberg. When I was 16 I also worked for an Afrikaans social media network called Toeter, in which I was tasked to follow the apps algorithms in order to attract more users & create content for them. I attended Rhodes University for my first year in which I was studying linguistics, psychology and sociology. I had to drop out due to health reasons but I plan on going back to school for performing arts. During this year I worked at the Grahamstown Arts Festival.
