Di Rosen is an award winning producer/director with extensive experience in the industry in Executive Producing, Producing, Directing and production who boasts a career that has stretched across South Africa, Africa, Middle East, France, Amsterdam and India. Di has 9 awards and 17 nominations under her belt. Di can produce well and interact with people and draw from them what most producers wouldn’t be able too. I am creative and have the ability to see beyond the eye. I have a very good repore with people and people respond well to me, I tend to get the best out of people both on and off camera. In terms of directing I have a good visual eye, I communicate well with my crews. I cope in stressful environments. Having been involved in the television industry for over thirty years I have extensive knowledge and experience in the technical, creative and management aspects of television production. I have produced and directed content across a wide range of genres. I have the skills, drive, and positive ‘can-do’ attitude. I am solution oriented, and capable of developing a cohesive team environment. I recognize that the key to business success is staff motivation and performance, and due to this, I present well developed people management skills. Long hours are not an issue. As a professional who has always delivered upon set projects and objectives, I am able to communicate effectively, whilst planning and acting strategically. My years of working experience have ensured that I have been exposed to a diverse range of people from all walks of life. This has provided me with the ability to understand how to get the best out of a range of different people for the benefit of the project and the cause that it represents. My honest and compassionate approach is necessary when providing input as a facilitator, and I am passionate about working for a cause that will encourage upliftment and provide beneficial results for others. I am currently on the advisory council of #changemakershub and am instrumental in assisting with storytelling and mentoring. The abovementioned is relevant, but even more so is my commitment to integrity and my aim to leave a positive legacy where possible. Because of this commitment, I have been recognized as a leader in my field. I have acted as an integral member of relevant projects, I am highly adaptable and my genuine interest in my line of work ensures that I am resourceful, pragmatic, optimistic, and open to new ideas and opportunities.
