Riyo, an eccentric actor debuts in MTV's hit series MTVSHUGANAIJA as the character Jubril. A graduate of theatre from the University of calabar and an incessant learner, taking online classes from the renowned MASTERCLASS.
During off seasons, he still performs, priding himself as an impressionist, whether voice or body.
New to the world of screen performance, Riyo has been able to book roles in popular TV dramas like The Johnson and Brethren, both on Africa Magic.
Believing in the uniqueness of the stage and as a means to develop as an actor, Riyo has played a variety of roles from local stage plays to critical acclaim apartheid play SIZWE BANSI IS DEAD, where he played the character BUNTU which lead to his booking a role in EbonylifetTv's The Governor.
Before the covid-19 pandemic, he has been preparing for a feature length movie project with an indie company.
He is happy to be in consideration for a hit series in the works and currently seeking representation in Nigeria, the UK and US.
