Amanda Mazwane is broadcaster born in Durban and bread in Mount Frere Eastern Cape. She completed Honors Degree in Journalism majoring in TV and Radio Broadcasting at Tshwane University of Technology. It was in 2015 when she volunteered at a community radio station, Alfred Nzo FM that she realized that this passion would be something she would turn into a reality. During her studies at TUT, she did a professional training at a campus radio station, TUT FM, serving as a News anchor, Reporter and Technical Producer. In her final year of studies, she went on to complete an internship at Madibeng FM serving as a Field Reporter, English and Xhosa News anchor, while freelancing at GauTV as a Field Reporter and Anchor. After her internship came to an end at Madibeng FM, she got another internship at SGS as a Production, Editorial and Marketing Assistant where she did a lot of video shooting and editing, as well as writing of articles. During the same period at SGS, Mazwane got another amazing opportunity at SABC as a Mentee at 5fm where she was professionally exposed in different fields of radio. On a personal level, Amanda is a young hard working and driven individual with hunger for success and open to enhancing her personal capacity as a professional through solid knowledge. She is a fast learner and will use every opportunity she gets to learn and improve her skills and knowledge. She is committed to pursuing a career in the journalism broadcasting industry both in radio and television. Amanda is seeking a competitive environment, where she will be able to share and improve her skills and capabilities to the fullest.
