Brand joined MultiChoice Africa in December 2015 as Strategy and New Business Director and in January 2017, he was appointed as CEO. He is a Chartered Accountant who started his career at Vodacom SA. Brand left the corporate world and became a shareholder and CEO of an investment company called the Marc Group which focuses on the commercializing of sports and marketing rights in Africa. He exited the Marc Group and took up a CEO contract with the PSL – South African Premium Soccer League before joining MultiChoice.
